Had the good fortune to check out "Big" Kenny Alpin and John "Rich" on Monday. What a show! This was my first country concert experience. These guys are not your typical country band. They put out a blend of country-hip hop, and country-rock which has been termed "cross-country". I've been into them for several years now since a friend introduced me to their debut single "Save A Horse, Ride a Cowboy". 

Marketing geniuses if you ask me - these guys also brought along Cowboy Troy - a 6'5" black cowboy from Texas who rapped out a few songs from his latest CD "Black In The Saddle", and 2 Foot Fred a "little person" who contributed nothing more than comic relief.

This one gets 4/5 in my concert books.
